World Plone Day (WPD) is a worldwide, 24-hour Plone event to celebrate Plone in local events and share new videos about Plone usage, development and community.
Thanks to all the people who submitted videos! For example, we have deep dives into some people's long experience with Plone, various use cases from public sector sites, discussion about renewing plone.org, insight and examples of integrating AI-tools with Plone, and visions of pickles, elephants and cloud.

Plone is a Quiet Giant
In preparation for World Plone Day 2026, we published a new section on plone.org called Plone Labs: a place for community members to suggest well thought written stories. The first post comes from Armin Stroß-Radschinski on March 23th 2026 and he wrote a story, structured as an invitation to WPD2026, for seven different audiences for Plone. Take a look at A Quiet Giant!
Hope you enjoyed World Plone Day 2026! See you next time!
