Continued Business

  • OSI Elections
    • Our candidate for the OSI Board was elected (2nd place).
  • GSoC
    • All good so far. Lots of proposals. 3 mentors plus a secondary/junior mentor to assist.
    • Lots of administrative steps, and the GSoC UI was very confusing, but fortunately registration is done.
    • Martin mentioned reading proposals for improved candidate onboarding. This may be helpful to triage Plone GSoC submissions. Something to consider for next year.
    • Guido suggests peer review could also help, similar to how this has benefited online courses.
  • Budget
    • Still missing Salamina Sprint Budget and final clarity on Marketing Budget. Board will vote next meeting.
  • PloneConf25
    • Website is already up. CFP, tickets, and sponsorships are now open.
    • T.Kim has been trying to contact trainers.
    • Rikupekka asked for assistance regarding (non-European) sponsor invoicing.
  • Treasuer
    • Still reviewing candidates and clarifying.
  • AI Policy
    • No new news.
    • Mikel: For translations, GitHub complains about not signing PCA. Will clarify at Volto meeting next week.
    • It is defined in the PCA that only "meaningful contributions" requires signing the PCA
    • Translations are on collective, not on Plone, so that makes it easier to accept non-PCA contributions.
  • Zope Funds
    • No new news. Martin to try contacting again.

Review Ongoing

  • Guido: collective.collabora almost ready to be released. Will do a video about it for WPD.
  • Brian gave a report on WPD submissions. Over 12 hours filled. Have been contacting additional people. Hoping for more videos last-minute.
  • Brian talked about the recent AMA with Gouveia. Fun session, good content. Marketing's plan is to do AMA with all the board members in coming months as part of Plone Tune-Up Day festivities.
  • Mikel: Planning to do a Hands-On Session with Erico about Plone translations.
  • Brian: Marketing is hoping to promote more live sessions/streams. Hands-Ons have been popular. Considering additional ideas like a release party stream for next Plone version.

Adjournment

  • Eric motions to adjourn. Mikel seconds. All in favor.
  • Adjourned at 21:04 UTC
