Gildardo Bautista: FacultyStaffDirectory at the National University of Mexico

As usual in academic institutions all over the world in the Institute of Mathematics at the National University of Mexico, the academic staff needs to present an annual activity report. Several committees take this information in order to evaluate the academic work. This information is also synthesized in the annual global report that must be presented to the university central administration.
We'll talk about our experience with Plone at the Institute and our extension of FacultyStaffDirectory. Specifically:
- How we developed the infrastructure for our information management system, and solved problems in automating processes
- How we extended FacultyStaffDirectory to meet our requirements
- Point to future developments.
