World Plone Day is Wednesday, April 25th

The World Plone Day (WPD) is a worldwide event to promote and educate the worldwide public about of the benefits of using Plone.

World Plone Day (WPD) is an event held by Plone community around the world to promote the benefits of using Plone. Indeed, the WPD is much more than a single event, is a series of events held by companies, organizations, user groups and individuals around the world.

This year, 35 cities are holding World Plone Day events in 20 diferent countries

In Brazil, Brasilia World Plone Day is promoted by the PloneGov-BR community. According to Jean Ferri, they are expecting more than 150 attendees.

Townsville (Australia), Dornbirn (Austria), Caratinga (Brazil), Zürich (Switzerland) and Tokyo (Japan)  are planning introductory talks.

Namur (Belgium) have a very extensive program, including cases, intranet, acessibility and a sprint.

Berlin (Germany) will host a dinner without talks. According to Stefan Antonelli "There will be no talks, no code and absolutely no reason to miss this!"
