Plone conference 2024 showcased the diversity and reach of the Plone community, welcoming over 290 participants from 19 countries across the globe.
Our attendees brought a variety of professional backgrounds, levels of experience, and unique perspectives, enriching the discussions and collaborations throughout the event.
We were especially proud to continue the tradition of hosting our Google Summer of Code students. This time, three students—from China, Egypt, and India—presented their projects to the attendees and the wider Plone community, exemplifying the power of mentorship and innovation.

In Daniel's project he discovered how AI can enhance web accessibility by automatically generating image descriptions and alt text in Plone.
