Call to Order

- Meeting started at 18:05 UTC

- Present: Rafahela Bazzanella, Gildardo Bautista Garcia Cano, Brian Davis, João Henrique Gouveia, Rikupekka Oksanen, and Martin Peeters

- Excused: Eric Brehault and Steve Piercy

Approval of the minutes

- May 28, 2026: Brian motions to approve.  Gildardo seconds.  All in favor except Rafahela who abstains.

Action items

- Brian contacted Fred and Rob about Nick.

- Martin contacted the Treasurer about transition.

New Business

New Treasurer Search

- Steve's 1 year interim term is coming to a close.

- Brian: What are the US/EU limitations in the treasurer search?

- Martin:

    - Need a book keeper (US)

    - Need a treasurer (US or UK)

    - Need names on the bank account (US)

    - Need someone to get the mail (US).

        - It is scanned, but for physical items goes to a US address (currently goes to Steve?)

- Discussed options and potential candidates

- Martin: We should check if treasurer can legally be outside of the US

- Brian: If outside the US, where do we search?

    - Martin: Contact non-US Plone companies to see who might fit well in the role

- Martin to discuss with Steve and define US/EU limitations

Continued Business

Move Nick to Plone

- Nick was moved to Plone during the Pole Position Sprint.

- Marketing posted to social media.

- News item and related content pending.

PloneConf

- Working on Call For Papers during Pole Position sprint

- No news on ticketing

- Social media campaign started

- Website is live

- Registration will open soon

- Location for conference, training, and sprint has been confirmed

- Plone party organization is progressing well

Ploneorg

- Moving along, making progress.  Beethoven sprint was a huge step.

- Karel has a theme

- Fred working on Github integrations

- Tania/Brian/Rikupekka working on content creation

- Next steps: import old content, import previous content types, fix blockers

Community Recognition

- No updates from Mikel.

- Gildardo to reach out.

Quaive

- Martin created a spreadsheet with a list of tasks for Quaive migration.

- Martin looking to deploy a software product for improved meeting management

  - Will allow anyone from Plone Foundation to add items to agenda & review meeting comments

Zope Funds

- Steve collecting contact information via GitHub user accounts and commit messages to Zope projects

- Brian reported that TKim collected contact information from Zope mailman list and forwarded it to the Board

Review Ongoing

- Classic UI renamed to Blicca https://plone.org/news-and-events/news/news-for-2026/introducing-plone-blicca 

- Next version of Volto renamed to Aurora (beginning the process)

- Martin discussed Open Home Foundation

- Pole Position Sprint is going well this week

- Tech Sovereignty Open Letter was signed by Affintic and Red Turtle in support of Plone
