Plone Foundation Board Minutes April 02, 2026

Meeting started at 20:05 GMT.

Attendance

  • Present: João Henrique Gouveia, Brian Davis, Martin Peeters, Rikupekka Oksanen, Steve Piercy, and Eric Brehault

  • Excused: Rafahela Bazzanella, Gildardo Bautista Garcia Cano

Approval of the minutes

Eric moves to approve the minutes, Gouveia seconds. All in favor.

Action items

  • Eric contacted the person who made the GDPR request, now we need to find out how to honor it. To find out who is managing zope.dev today, Eric will contact Erico and Martin will contact Godefroid

  • Plone domain list still in process

  • Martin will contact Guido when he is back from vacation

  • Gouveia prepared an email for the Marketing team about the AI page, to be reviewed by the board during next meeting.

  • 2 requests about sprint expanses reimbursement (by Astrid and Victor)

New Business

  • Platinum Sponsor: Mikel made a proposal and is asking for guidance about the platinum sponsor logo display on plone.org. The board recommends to keep the current design unchanged on this regard for now, and take the opportunity of the plone.org design re-vamp to change it. Rikupekka will contact Mikel about it.

Continued business

  • Plone Conference 2026:

    • The website will be online soon.

    • Some board members cannot afford traveling to the conference. The board wants to come up with a way to allow them to attend (a fund raising for example?)

  • Community recognition program: will be reviewed during next meeting

  • Plone domain list still in process

  • Treasury topics:

    • Martin will send to Steve the signed letter for Payoneer

    • Quarterly results: will be reviewed during next meeting
