The Plone Foundation is proud to announce that we have once again received the Silver Seal of Transparency from Candid (formerly GuideStar). Plone has always been known for secure, robust software. Candid (formerly GuideStar) awards the Silver Seal of Transparency only to nonprofit organizations that openly share how they operate—what they do, who they serve, and how they manage their resources. To earn it, an organization must publicly provide:

  • Verified organizational details (name, tax ID, address)

  • Clear program information and measurable outcomes

  • Grantmaker status, if applicable

  • Up-to-date branding and public presence
