Plone Foundation Welcomes New Members for Spring 2026
Johan Beyers, Christophe Boulanger, Julien Chandelle, Elisabeth Donnay, Rémi Dubois, Roland Fasching, Lincoln Ferreira de Araujo, Jussi Talaskivi, and Wagner Trezub join The Plone Foundation.

Plone Foundation Welcomes New Members for Spring 2026

The Plone Foundation welcomes new members after confirmation by the Foundation's Board of Directors on March 5, 2026.

Membership in the Foundation is conferred for significant and enduring contributions to the Plone project and community. The Plone Foundation Membership Committee recommended each applicant for their ongoing contributions to Plone.

Johan Beyers

Johan has been involved in the Plone ecosystem since 2004. He is the co-owner of Juizi and has been hosting many of the South African Plone sites since 2011. Johan is the author of collective.gallerypage and collective.jquerysvg. He continues to be inspired by events like PloneConf25 and was grateful to serve as co-host for the Stellenboch 2026 Plone Marketing Sprint.

Johan resides in Stellenbosch, South Africa.

Christophe Boulanger

Christophe's journey into the Plone world began in 2010 by convincing their IT Director to use Plone 3 as an intranet solution. Since joining iMio in 2014, Christophe has contributed to many collective packages. Christophe has attended the Plone conference every year since 2019, and assisted with PloneConf 2022 in Namur as an organizer, photographer, and speaker.

Christophe works at iMio and lives in Andenne, Namur, Belgium.

Julien Chandelle

Julien helped create the website for PloneConf 2022 in Namur, edited the official conference trailer, and assisted during the event itself. He has contributed to various Plone and Volto packages and actively works on Urban, an open-source iMio application for managing working permits. Julien has been participating in Plone Conferences since 2021 and enjoys engaging with the community, exchanging ideas, and contributing to maintaining the collaborative and open spirit that defines Plone.

Julien works for Affinitic and lives in Nivelles, Walloon Brabant, Belgium.

Elisabeth Donnay

Elisabeth started working with Plone in 2008 and became increasingly interested in the platform and its possibilities. By 2014, Elisabeth was creating hundreds of websites using Plone 4 and Plone 5, handling CSS integration, managing users, training and supporting editors, and writing documentation for several tools built in Plone. She joined iMio in 2021, where she is a team lead and responsible for four applications developed in Plone. Since then, she has presented at multiple Plone conferences and World Plone Days, and was part of the organizing team for PloneConf 2022 in Namur.

Elisabeth works at iMio and resides in Anhée, Namur, Belgium.

Rémi Dubois

Rémi provided logistical support for the organization of PloneConf 2022. With 16 years as head of IT for a Belgian municipality, he joined iMio’s SmartWeb team in 2022, taking on a Swiss-army-knife role as well as working with the DevOps team. Rémi has given presentations at multiple Plone Conferences and has made contributions to collective.solr, pas.plugins.oidc, and collective.contentsections, collective.plausible.

Remi works at iMio and resides in Blaton, Bernissart, Hainaut, Belgium.

Roland Fasching

Roland has been working as a full-stack developer with design ambitions with Plone since version 2.0. He is the founder of the Austria-based company cloud19 web solutions & services, providing Plone solutions and hosting services since 2004. Roland has been attending Plone Conferences for over 20 years, and has contributed to packages such as collective.txt42.chatgpt, Products.PloneWorldkit, and Products.ATColorPickerWidget.

Roland lives in Melk, Austria.

Lincoln Ferreira de Araujo

Lincoln works with Plone at Empresa Brasil de Comunicação (EBC), the Brazilian public media company. His contributions are focused on designing and developing large-scale public websites using Plone, such as Agência Gov, Agência Brasil, Canal Gov, Rádio Gov, and Canal Educação. Lincoln also promotes Plone’s adoption within his organization by helping teams understand its CMS features, workflow system, and flexibility for content management and media distribution.

Lincoln resides in Brasilia, Brazil.

Jussi Talaskivi

Jussi was part of the team that organized PloneConf 2025 in Finland. He has been involved in creating dozens of Plone based services since 2004 including video portals, learning management systems, and many other sites. Jussi also gave a presentation at PloneConf 2022 in Namur about the University of Jyväskylä's research video portal and related technologies.

Jussi works as a systems architect at the University of Jyväskylä in Finland.

Wagner Trezub

Wagner is part of the Volto core team and the Volto a11y team. He is an active contributor on GitHub with a primary focus on inclusion and accessibility. He has identified and reported usability issues, proposed enhancements, and helped improve navigation and screen reader compatibility. In addition to code and issue contributions, Wagner was a speaker at the Plone Conference 2024 and has actively collaborated in multiple community sprints, working closely with the core team and other contributors.

Wagner works at RedTurtle and lives in Italy.
