Plone Foundation Welcomes New Members for Fall 2026

The Plone Foundation welcomes new members after confirmation by the Foundation's Board of Directors on August 7, 2026.

Membership in the Foundation is conferred for significant and enduring contributions to the Plone project and community. The Plone Foundation Membership Committee recommended each applicant for their ongoing contributions to Plone.

Alexander Rybakov

Alexander has been a speaker at Plone Conference and an active contributor at Plone sprints. He is the developer of interaktiv.aiclient and volto-alttextgenerator and given World Plone Day presentations on AI alternative text generation and AI subtitles generation. Alexander is a maintainer of other Interaktiv add-ons like volto-templates and values participation and involvement in the Plone community.

Alexander is Junior Developer at Interaktiv GmbH and lives in Kerpen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.

Glebson Moura Da Silva

Glebson started with Plone 4.0 in 2010, as a newcomer to the Federal Senate of Brazil, to develop portals, websites, and web tools for support and management in Senate Communication. As of 2026, he oversees more than twenty projects, from the home page of the Federal Senate, through the intranet of the House, to other products such as the Senate news portal, TV and Radio Senate websites, Secom Communication Manual, and many more. Glebson has been a speaker at World Plone Day, participated in multiple Plone Conferences, and believes that strengthening the Plone community is strategic and essential for a safe and sustainable future.

Glebson works as the ICT Director at Brazilian Senate and resides in Brasília, Brazil.

Jan Mevissen

Jan has been working with Plone since 2008 and been a speaker at multiple Plone Conferences. He specializes in complex Plone/Volto integrations, content migration, and building scalable CMS architectures. As a lead developer on large-scale projects, he bridges technical excellence with a strong focus on editorial usability and maintainability. Jan is passionate about open source, clean code, and designing CMS experiences that empower users.

Jan is a Senior Fullstack Plone Developer at Interaktiv GmbH and lives in Köln, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany.

Sébastien Verbois

Sébastien has been working with Plone since 2004 and has participated in around fifteen Plone Conferences. At the University of Namur, he developed and maintained numerous Plone-based websites, as well as several business applications tailored to academic and institutional needs. Sébastien currently designs and promotes Plone-based solutions for local goverments and public institutions at iMio and is active in strengthening the local Plone French speaking community. With more than 20 years of continuous involvement in the Plone ecosystem, as a developer, architect, and trainer, Sébastien's dedicated service as a community builder is invaluable.

Sébastien works as an Enterprise Architect at IMIO and resides in Yvoir, Walloon Region, Belgium.

Tania Silini

Tania is a member of the Plone Marketing Team and is currently contributing to the plone.org renewal. She has attended multiple Plone sprints and wrote the Plone Wikipedia Page for Italy. Tania has been working with RedTurtle since 2023 and focuses on copywriting for business, particularly for websites, online magazines, brochures, and personal branding. In her leisure time, she volunteers for the "Nati per Leggere" project, promoting literacy through public readings for children and adults. Tania also enjoys herbalism, Kung Fu, and writing fantasy stories, including an urban fantasy novel set in her native lake and mountain landscape.

Tania works as a copywriter at RedTurtle and lives in Brescia, Lombardy, Italy.
