Plone Foundation Board for 2025–2026

The Plone Foundation exists to further the development, marketing, and legal affairs of Plone and the Plone community.

The Plone Foundation board's duties include the following:

  • supporting the development of the Plone ecosystem by coordinating team efforts and identifying vital sprint targets;
  • protecting the integrity of the Plone ecosystem by monitoring rights and ensuring the continued value of the ecosystem intellectual property;
  • coordinating the marketing of the Plone ecosystem and providing funding for representation at conferences and related events;
  • coordinating World Plone Day and the annual Conference to encourage community connections and the ongoing development of the world's best CMS.

The voting Board members for the coming year(s) are:

  • Rafahela Bazzanella 2024-2026 (Membership Chair)
  • Éric Bréhault - 2023-2027 (Secretary, Google Summer of Code Liaison, and renewed board member)
  • Gildardo Bautista García Cano - 2025-2027 (new board member)
  • Brian Davis - 2023-2026 (Admin Team Liaison)
  • João Henrique Gouveia - 2024-2026 (Vice President)
  • Rikupekka Oksanen - 2025-2027 (Marketing Chair, Conference Team Liaison, and new board member)
  • Martin Peeters - 2022-2026 (President, Security Team Liaison)

The non-voting Board members for the coming year are:

  • Steve Piercy - 2025-2026 (Interim Treasurer, Assistant Secretary)

We wish to welcome new board members Gildardo Bautista García Cano and Rikupekka Oksanen to the team!

And we wish to thank outgoing board members Mikel Larreategi and Guido Stevens for their years of service!
