Having Plone Conference 2025 and revived PyCon Finland 2025 in University of Jyväskylä on October 13-19 and seeing people come here from 30 different countries and enjoying their time was truly something special. Week was filled up with training, over 70 talks and a development sprint, but even more with meeting cool people. It was energising thanks to everyone being so nice (and getting free hugs when ever there was a chance). Read the full summary of the week.
Feedback Notes
Asking to evaluate the conference on the scale of 1-5, where 1 is bad and 5 is very good, we got the overall score of 4.87/5.
"Very nice!" to quote Borat.
Some feedback and improvement suggestions for future conferences:
The conference was great! Maybe the best until now, but then, every year is the best conference. I did love Jyväskylä and Finland.
The (training) rooms were expecially good this year - plenty of power outlets, really big screen/projector, which makes it easier to follow along code examples.
The party was very good. My first Plone Party and I see now why it is really necessary to have this. That seems to be where you really get to know people, and even move forward on some issues. Also gave good insight into how the community functions.

Lovely Photos
Lovely photos of lovely people. And bridges. We had a fun photo competition during the event and the most votes went to Jeremy H. for the beautiful reflective lake image.
Check out all the glorious Photo Competition pictures!

Sprinting and developing
Plone Conference sprint was another success, with focus on Plone 7 and community discussions.
