Cerrado Sprint 2026

The Brazilian Sprint
The fifth edition of the Cerrado Sprint, organized by Simples Consultoria and PloneGov-BR, takes place from November 3 to 6, 2026, in Brasília, Brazil.

This year's main focus is Aurora, the next Plone frontend, together with accessibility work for both Volto and Aurora. As always, you're welcome to join and bring your own topics of interest.
Who should attend
- Plonistas who want to get their hands on Aurora early, whether or not they have prior Volto experience;
- Volto developers and integrators interested in the migration path;
- Accessibility specialists, designers, and testers who can help us evaluate and improve both frontends;
- And anyone from the Plone community, from first-time contributors to core developers, who wants to spend four days working alongside other Plone people.
You don't need to be an expert: sprints are one of the best ways to start contributing, and there will be people around to help you get set up.
And you don't need to be fluent in English -- or Portuguese -- as we will have colleagues available to help you overcome the language barrier!
How to join
The sprint will be hybrid: on-site seats in Brasília are limited, but anyone can take part remotely through the Plone Discord.
Please, add your name to the sprint doc
