Who am I?
I am Jakob and have been active in the Plone community since Timo Stollenwerk introduced me to this wonderful community 8 years ago. People might know me from sprints, conferences and any other event that includes beers. Anyone who has talked to me before might have noticed my enthusiasm for open source, punk music, bicycles, progressive politics, flight simulation and obviously beers.
What can I contribute to the Plone Foundation?
Even though I have been part of the community for quite a few years already and would not consider myself a "newbie", I think I can bring some fresh perspectives to the organisation. I would love to help advance endeavours to diversify the community even more, make the foundation more independent from the struggles of the current global political situation and find solutions to continue our ways of developing Plone to be more conscious of the ongoing climate crisis.
