Working with Zope since 1999, I'm a Plone developer since 2005. I am a co-founder of the PloneGov-Br community, and the Associação Python Brasil (APyB).
Who am I?
Working with Zope since 1999, I'm a Plone developer since 2005. I am a co-founder of the PloneGov-Br community, and the Associação Python Brasil (APyB), and I was part of the organization for many important Plone events in Brazil, like: PyConBrasil, World Plone Day Brasilia, Plone Symposium South America, and two editions of Plone Conference.
Currently I work for the Interlegis/ILB/Senado Federal, and I live in Sobradinho, Brasil.
Why am I interested?
I have worked with Plone in the Brazilian government for over 20 years. The Brazilian government is a large consumer and developer of Plone solutions. We need to bring our internal and international community closer together so that we are known and recognized as potential opinion generators in decisions about the future of Plone.
The Python community has always been very close to the Plone community, we need to regain this connection and try to bring more young leaders closer by renewing the community.
There is a very big gap in terms of training, we will promote training for content managers, developers from the Python communities and the legislative community.
