plone.org web site upgraded
The plone.org web site has been upgraded, and is now running the upcoming version 3.2 of Plone.
The main goals for this upgrade were:
- Improved performance
- Increased reliability
- Introduction of the new PyPI-style software upload capabilities — will be detailed in a future announcement shortly
- Clean out old content and scrub the database — it has been running since 2001, so some cruft had accumulated
- Prepare for the upcoming redesign
