Plone Foundation Board Elects Officers for 2016-2017

Meet your new Plone Foundation officers: Paul Roeland has been named President, Alexander Loechel Vice-President, Chrissy Wainwright Secretary and Jen Myers Treasurer.

The Plone Foundation Board of Directors held their first meeting on Thursday, November 3, 2016, and selected Foundation officers for the upcoming year. The officers are elected annually.

President - Paul Roeland

Paul is an open source activist and tech coordinator for several non-profits. Currently working for the Clean Clothes Campaign in Amsterdam, Netherlands, Paul's past involvements include Friends of the Earth, a film festival, and a range of events with the wider ICT4D and Opendata movements. This is Paul's 6th term on the board and 5th as President. 

Vice President - Alexander Loechel

Alexander works at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich responsible for all new IT-Projects. Since 2004 he has worked with Plone and related technologies. He has done several projects for universities, nonprofit organizations and governmental institutions. His focus is on connecting academic institutions in the web world and on IT security. This is Alexander's 4th term on the board. 

Secretary - Chrissy Wainwright

Chrissy is a developer at Six Feet Up, has given theming talks and trainings at Plone events over the years, and helped with the launch of This is her 3rd term on the board, and her 2nd as Secretary. 

Treasurer (non-voting) - Jen Myers

Jen is the Director of Accounting for Six Feet Up in Fishers, Indiana (USA). She has over 15 years of financial experience: 12 years in public accounting, followed by a 3 1/2 year stint as the Financial Controller at a software and hardware company.  Jen is not a member of the Foundation Board, but is appointed in accordance with Foundation bylaws.
