Getting around Vienna

Getting around Vienna for the second Plone Conference.

The best way to get to/from the conference is the streetcar, subway or a bus. Running behind or running late? If you're impatient or stay out too late (streetcars stop running at 1 AM), you can fetch a taxi or take a night bus. These buses run all night every 30 minutes. Streetcar, Subway, Bus General fare for one way transportation within the city is €1.50 if you buy the ticket in advance, or €2.00 if you buy it in the streetcar or bus. You can't buy tickets in the subway directly, but you can at every station. The least expensive option is to buy a week ticket which costs €12. That's the price for 8 single rides. You just buy it and use all available public transportations for free as long as you don't cross the city borders. Taxi Cab fare from the airport to area hotels or the Volksgartenis is about €23 to €25 each way. There is no additional cost for extra riders. - "Airportservice":http://www.airportservice.at/ - (676) 351 64 20 - "31300":http://www.taxi31300.at - (01) 31300 - "60160":http://www.taxi60160.at/ - (01) 60160 (Accepting Creditcards mostly) Rent-a-Car There are rent-a-car offices at the airport.
