Plone Foundation Board for 2022-2023

Érico Andrei

President, (São Paulo, Brazil)

Érico Andrei worked for over fifteen years with content management projects using Plone. During that period, he co-founded Simples Consultoria, hosted 2 Plone Symposiums, co-organized a Plone Conference and, in 2011, he was PythonBrasil (local Pycon) chair.

This is Érico's eighth term on the board

Kim Paulissen

Vice President, (Leuven, Belgium)

A Plone enthusiast, Kim is a maintainer and integrator of all Plone-based solutions for the KU Leuven University since 2008, when she joined the Plone community. She has served on several community teams, including UI, training, and documentation).

This is Kim's second year on the board.

William Fennie

Secretary, (Maryland, USA)

William has been a member of the Plone community since 2008, working mainly in education with some consultant/development initiatives. He describes himself as an integrator who can read Python and knows his way around the various moving parts in a Plone instance. His focus is on making life easier for non-technical users.

This is William's third year on the board.

Jens Klein

(Innsbruck, Austria)

Since v1.0 Jens has been part of the Plone community as a core developer, sprint organizer and in various other roles. He maintains several Plone add-ons. Jens believes in the concept of Free and OpenSource Software. Since 2004, he has been operating Klein & Partner KG, a consulting agency based on Plone, Zope, and Pyramid technology offering concepts, development, and training. He is co-founder of BlueDynamics Alliance, a Plone-based business community of trust.

This is Jens's fourth term on the board.

T. Kim Nguyen

(Oshkosh, Wisconsin, USA)

Kim is a software systems consultant. Previously, he worked at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh for 12 years where he and a small team helped created over 350 Plone sites, intranets, and workflow apps. Kim was co-chair of PloneEdu, host of the Plone Symposium Midwest 2013 and 2014 in Oshkosh, and was an organizer of the 2016 and 2017 Plone Conferences. He continues to meddle in several Plone teams and has been known to record a Plone podcast.

This is Kim's sixth term on the board.

Martin Peeters

(Genappe, Belgium)

Martin has been a Plone developer since 2010 and is CEO / CTO of Affinitic a Belgian Plone Solution company. He co-organized the Plone Conference 2022 and attended almost every Plone Conference since Bristol in 2010. He finds Plone is a friendly community with great people. Martin has participated in several conference sprints and PLOG (Plone Open Garden) as well. Over a period of 12 years he has helped maintain hundreds of Plone websites supporting thousands of users.

This is Martin's first term on the Board.

Paul Roeland

(Amsterdam, Netherlands)

Paul is an Open Source activist and tech coordinator for several non-profits. Currently working for the Clean Clothes Campaign, his past involvements include Friends of the Earth, a film festival, and a range of events with the wider ICT4D and open data movements.

Paul served as the Foundation President for several years, and this is his twelfth term on the board.
