Plone interviews: Accessibility, LinuxWorld, NGOs

Several interviews with influential Plonistas have surfaced recently, here are some resources for you to enjoy in preparation for the weekend.
From the serious to the downright entertaining, over the past week the following interviews were made available: "National Center on Disability & Access to Education interviews Plone co-founder Alexander Limi on accessibility":http://ncdae.org/webcasts/cms.cfm (audio) -- An all-too-often forgotten aspect when people construct web sites is how accessible these sites are to the blind and sight/motor-impaired. Plone was probably the first CMS out there that focused on accessibility, and in this phone interview a lot of covered, with a plea to the community to help out with testing accessibility in Plone to make it even better. With the recent ruling that "web sites can be sued for not providing access to the blind":http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/060907/cgth051.html?.v=55, things are about to get very interesting indeed. (I apologize for the poor sound quality in this interview, I was on a mobile phone at the time ~limi) (This was also "covered on webstandards.org":http://www.webstandards.org/2006/09/02/accessibility-webcast-on-plone along with a text summary of the interview, if you don't have the time to listen to it right now) "NetSquared interviews Jon Stahl":http://www.netsquared.org/blog/britt-bravo/plone-lovers-unite-an-interview-with-plone-conference-organizer-jon-stahl (article) -- In this brief interview, Jon talks about his favorite upcoming Plone Conference sessions, offers his assessment of why Plone is a great choice for nonprofit content management, and prognosticate about the adoption of the "social web". "Rob Miller is interviewed at LinuxWorld 2006 in San Francisco":http://www.geekentertainment.tv/2006/08/28/linuxworld-2006-wrap-up (video) -- This has to be my favorite clip for the week; Rob expertly fields the crazy questions from the interviewer and outdoes her in pure silliness. (Rob is in the last half of this clip)
