Because Penn State is
strategically located near New York, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia,
Pittsburgh, and other economic centers, and because this is the first
Symposium to be held on the East coast of the U.S., we anticipate a
large turnout of up to 200 to 250 people. Although conference sessions
are targeted for March 12-13, related events such as training and
development sprints will span the entire week of March 10.
Therefore, to help us ensure the success of the Plone Symposium East, we ask for your sponsorship. Your support will help lower registration costs for attendees and defray the travel costs of some of our luminous presenters. In return for your sponsorship, we want to help promote your message in the most effective way. While we list some options for sponsorship, we would be delighted to work individually with you to create an effective promotional effort.
The Plone Symposium East has already generated a great amount of interest and we are expecting a heavy turnout for this event. Your sponsorship of this event offers you an opportunity to increase awareness of your brand to an international community of developers, designers and users of the Plone CMS.
