Plone Conference 2007

The actual conference will start on 10th October and will finish on 12th October. It will be preceded by 2 days of training (8th and 9th October) and will be followed by 3 days of sprint workshops (13th, 14th and 15th October). So if you're booking tickets and want to attend both the training before as well as the sprint afterwards, make sure you get tickets for October 8th to 15th.

Program

 

  • Plone Training: two days 8-9 october

  • Plone Conference 2007: three days 10-11-12 October

  • Plone Sprint: three further days 13-14-15 October (will be held in the City of Science centre, Naples)

  • We have organized  a social dinner for the evening of 11th October and a big party on the beach  for the evening of 10th. You can register for these events by using the conference registration form.

The City of Science possesses a series of open spaces where participants can continue to meet and get to know each other after the seminar days.

The Amphitheatre, with 1,000 seats, can house performances, film shows and many other events.

The Music Square and the Green Square, measuring 1,600 square metres, offer guests space to walk between plants, flower beds and trees.

The Square on the sea, finally, takes up an area of about 2,000 square metres, between the beach and the Science Centre building.

It is equipped with lawns, carved stone seats and Exhibits and is the ideal place to spend a pleasant and relaxing evening.

All these activities and facilities should ensure that the Plone Conference 2007 becomes an unforgettable experience, educational and entertaining, for all fortunate enough to attend.

 

Capacity

We will envisage hosting a maximum of 700 participants. The cost of registration is 300 Euros and include:

  • participation at all seminars;
  • shuttle connections to the venue;
  • all catering services provided (2 coffee break and 1 lunch every day)
