DISCOVER magazine, the leading popular science magazine in the US, hired Abstract Edge to create a new website that would be more compelling to its community and subscribers. This high-traffic site, developed on the open source Plone content management system, contains every article of every issue since 1992, categorized, related and searchable, and allows DISCOVER to take advantage of blogging, podcasting, photo galleries, and video technologies, and greatly facilitates the publication of the online magazine.

A multilingual Plone intranet for Carglass, a multinational vehicle glass replacement company. Includes integration with internal HR systems.

Sharing a high degree of specialization and service-orientation, their top position in the respective markets is enhanced by the application of laboratory synergies. //// Raptus AG was charged with consulting, the general concept, technical implementation and graphic work (screen- and corporate design). //// This project covers 5 different Plone instances hosted by Raptus AG. One more instance is used internally as an intranet.
Panasonic FAQ-System
For Panasonic in Germany catWorkX has implemented a self-service FAQ-solution based on Plone with a flexible rights management enabling the FAQ editor to determine different approval levels for a FAQ. The FAQ-system is integrated into the panasonic.de website and has a back-end integration with a call and issue tracking system.

RTV-Yhtymä Oy is one of Finlands Biggest DIY and home interior decoration business. RTV needed a modern portal inclusive of a public face, a design extranet and major company Intranet. Naturaly we used Plone.
Sharp e-Service-Portal
Portal for registered Sharp dealers of Consumer Electronics which enables them to access service informations on Sharp products and to initiate servie procedures like ordering spare parts, RMA requests in warranty cases etc. The Portal is used by more than 3000 dealers in Germany and Austria. A European roll-out is planned.
SPI Group
SPI Group is one of the world's leading drinks companies. They are Russia's largest exporter of vodka and owner of the famous Stolichnaya brand. As well as alcohol production, they have diversified into agriculture for grain production as well as innovative property development. The site is deployed using the Plone content management system that allows content to be managed in both English and Russian using a dedicated management portal. Multiple language support as well as ease of use and scalability were the main reasons behind SPI's decision to use a Beetlebrow Plone solution.
ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems Canada Inc.
ThyssenKrupp is a $46 billions/year company, with over 190,000 employees. Their Marine Systems division in Canada runs on Plone 3.0, which also hosts a Custom Plone Bid Procurement System developed by Vurtur. www.vurtur.com
Uniq
Uniq is a European chilled convenience food group enjoying many market-leading positions, selling products in 12 countries as a major supplier to leading supermarket groups on a branded and customer own-label basis. Employing almost 7000 people in operations across Europe, the group recorded a turnover of over £700 Million for FY 2006. Uniq approached Netsight to design and build a new corporate website, aimed primarily at their corporate partners and investors. Uniq had already selected Plone as the platform for their corporate intranet, and wanted to integrate the public website with the intranet as closely as possible.
