The Norwegian Archive, Library and Museum Authority is a public institution under the authority of the Ministry of Culture and Church Affairs. Plone Solutions built them a new public website and intranet – both with special attention to accessibility and usability. This is a pioneer project in Norwegian government — the first public government tender that had specific demands to accessibility and Open Source software for the back-end.

Agenzia Sfide
Sfida Agency is an agency of the province of Isernia, founded in 2006 designed to improve the local situation, sustain the tourism and the economy in order to facilitate local development. S.F.I.D.E. is a provincial policy stems from the desire to outsource and perform more efficiently, but especially in a coordinated manner, functions and services for economic growth and social capability of identifying innovative strategies for the entire production system. The need S.F.I.D.E. - Facilitation of the development area - wants to be a virtual place for coordination and strategic planning at the local level, also establishes a link between those who wish to invest and pursue productive activities locally (regional, national and EU). Portal From this point of view the website of SFIDE has a reason to be particularly important and part of the series of portals in some way dedicated to Public Administrations. This kind of sites must maintain high standards of navigability and access to be capable of providing information and services to the citizens according to national legal guidelines. From this point of view the use of Plone for the development of the portal is already perceived as aimed at making airworthiness, intuitiveness and structure as optimal for every kind of audience. The site of SFIDE is quite simple, includes a few applications including, for example, Plone Gazette for the management of newsletters, a link to the interactive map, an events calendar and a registered user access section also includes a forum. On the other hand, even the graphics are designed to maintain a sense of logical organization and clear without wastage and complications, without giving rise to a portal depleted, and conversely the website contains an interesting area of multimedia and animated banner section.

Albuquerque Public Schools
On a tight budget and tired of vendor lock-in, APS needed a robust and secure content management system. They chose Plone based upon reports of its success at the City of Albuquerque. They selected FosterMilo to architect the system, craft a budget, write an RFP, build a web team, and design the Plone site. The site build-out was completed by Joel Burton. The new website launched in January 2010 with immediate success and positive feedback in the local press.
Ames Historic Preservation Commission
The Ames Historic Preservation Commission (AHPC) is a government commission of the city of Ames, Iowa. The AHPC reviews and makes recommendations on proposals for designating areas as historic districts; provides information within districts on preservation, renovation, rehabilitation, and reuse; holds hearings and reviews applications for new construction, alteration, demolition, or relocation of landmarks or property or structures within districts; and, reviews proposed zoning amendments that affect landmarks and districts.

The ADOA (Arizona Department of Administration) is a state agency located in the US that was able to consolidate 12 standalone static sites into one comprehensive portal for ADOA related information and materials.
Arpat
ARPAT - The Regional Agency for Environmental Protection of Tuscany, is active in the field of prevention and environmental protection. ARPAT has been operating since 1996; through a network of provincial departments, local services and sub-provinces in the region, it ensures the respect and fulfilment of regional guidelines in the prevention and environmental protection. The new project uses the faceted navigation system, in order to enable users to look for different contents by a multiple and easy research, and many other facilities accesibility, such as the contents correlation or the publibishing of different types of contents.
