WCQS / WYQS

The Mountain Air Network broadcasts streaming classical music, NPR public radio programs as well locally produced music, news and talk radio shows. Managing two stations - WCQS and WYQS - their new Plone site gives them a modern, flexible framework for serving their listeners' online needs whether it is musical entertainment or the latest breaking news from around the world. Michelle Keenan, director of Listener Support, was the midwife for the site redesign that allows staff members to update their sections of the site quickly and easily with a sophisticated workflow. We approached this project with an Agile/Scrum attitude which is a style of working that facilitates the smooth production of a complex website. Future sprints will focus on user-friendly streaming solutions and banner management for the underwriting staff.
