It's very important in the new century that events, all around the world, will be know and attended. That's why it's important to create events' websites to put on hand all the information about location, agenda, speakers, attendee, etc... Technology Biz is the web site created to promote the T-Biz meeting that gather together all the technology expert of Italy to share new technologies and their application to the “real” world. The needs Technology Biz wants to open a world so far considered only for experts, showing how the technologies can work alongside our everyday life and improve it. In particular, the T-Biz event shows how we can combat the ups and downs of the international economic market by investing in new technology solutions. The portal, is the virtual meeting point for those wishing to take part in this project. It is designed to meet the needs of the organizers, AND of the participants plus of the media always looking for useful information. The website The website was created as a support to the organizers and sponsors of the T-Biz 2009 event, held last October at the headquarters of the Business Innovation Center of the Città della Scienza (NA). The event itself is designed to accommodate meetings under one "vertical" roof related to technologies like SAP, IBM, MICROSOFT, GOOGLE, PloneGov, etc. ... The developed platform allows users to register themselves not only to the event in a broad sense, but to every single talk or demo, allowing a perfect organization and management of the influx of participants. The attention to detail of the individual led Abstract to the decision to create custom areas through which every registered user can access a personal dashboard (an area with user customized parameters) through which to manage subscriptions to each single event and interacting in a B2B perspective, with guru and sponsor of the T-Biz requesting personal meetings and demo. Because of its nature this area has been defined USERS AREA. Similarly, sponsors and Guru, as experts on the subject, have available the same Dashboard (called SPONSOR AREA) that in addition to managing personal meetings with participants and in addition to the features already mentioned, add the possibility to publicity dates and time of their availability for B2B meetings, to handle requests for meeting subdued by other users, to organize personal agenda through which to confirm, decline or request more information about the user requests. The tool also allows the organizers to request the change from a guru status to a sponsor's one in a few easy steps. Through its sponsors dashboard users can place content within the portal: pages, files, links, videos, images, search filters, etc ... this contents are subjected to approval - work-flows - from managers of the portal that have the ability to publish or reject content provided by sponsors. Once posted these sections become interesting points of knowledge for media and participants. The portal, as shown, is designed to easily handle an event potentially complex and certainly articulated from the point of view of the participant AND of the organizers.
