The Social Innovation Forum, a nonprofit based in Boston, MA, USA, fosters greater social and economic impact by promoting, connecting and supporting social entrepreneurs and social investors. Applying many of the same principles found in the private sector's venture capital community, the Social Innovation Forum strengthens nonprofit organizations by providing innovative leaders with direct access to the human and financial capital they need in order to grow and sustain their organizations. Visitors to the site can review updated information about each of the Social Innovators, including program development indicators, social and economic impact indicators, financial data, and ways to get involved. In addition, they are able to send correspondence and make donations directly via the portal, and can request email updates from their favorite organizations.
