To that end, they are building collaborative connections between green chemists - who design the products - and environmental health scientists - who understand how the chemicals interact with biological systems. This initiative includes a major conference, follow on meetings, information sharing, and policy development, all of which are aided by a members-only collaborative website. It includes news aggregated from a variety of sources, discussion forums, areas for members to post relevant papers and bibliographies, primers and analyses of important papers in both fields, collaboratively developed policy statements, and member commenting and discussion on all content. Bay Area Integrated Regional Water Management Plan
The Bay Area Integrated Regional Management Plan is a nine-county effort to coordinate and improve water supply reliability, protect water quality, manage flood protection, maintain public health standards, protect habitat and watershed resources, and enhance the overall health of the bay. We've developed this portal as a digital library and collaboration space for the IRWMP organization. The site catalogs more than 200 project listings and provides a secure intranet workspace for each. These tools were so effecitve that the IRWMP decided to provide secure workspaces to the Bay Area Clean Water Agencies project. We've also built a custom tool for generating e-mail updates of new site content. The open source software developed in this project is now being reused be several other IRWMP collaboratives in California.

Bioneers
Bioneers chose FosterMilo Web Architects to move them from Drupal into Plone as a more robust, industrial-strength CMS. The previous site was cluttered and unfocused in part due to the flat content structure used by Drupal. Nobody knew who had published what and where on the site. This made it difficult for the Bioneers to provide clear answers to visitors' most important questions -- who exactly are the Bioneers and what do they do? Plone offered sophisticated workflow and a folderish content structure that facilitates more organized management of content across many different publishers.
