Media Research Hub - Social Science Research Council
The Social Science Research Council (SSRC) is an independent, not-for-profit organization fostering social science research throughout the world, with an emphasis on developing innovative approaches to critical social issues. The Media Research Hub, part of the SSRC's Necessary Knowledge for a Democratic Public Sphere program, is a platform and toolkit linking researchers, advocates, and practitioners in the field. At its heart is a Resource Database, a community populated and maintained system that permits easy searches for individuals, institutions, research materials, networks, and projects. It supports the composition of "profiles" tracing connections among resources, and the saving and sharing of exportable lists. Jazkarta has built the Media Research Hub as the first of a network of thematic SSRC Research Hubs.

The new site demonstrates the multi-lingual capabilities of Plone featuring Maori-English navigation and content. With a visual design by Tangerine, the site is hosted and supported by 3months.com.

This group of fifteen young professionals of eleven nationalities are the first ones to ever graduate with a Master of Science in Luxury Goods and Services. The class endured the program offered by The International University of Monaco fall 2006 and completed the Master in double speed to graduate in only 10 months. Website with personalized information and services for students, lecturers and alumni of the Technische Universität München. Contains webmail, groups, mailing lists, elearning components, polling & evaluation, public and personal calendar, exam results, online registration for courses, news and much more. Today the site serves 60000 registered users. myTUM is based on the myTUM/elevateIT software, jointly developed by the Technische Universität München and syslab.com
National Committee on North Korea
The NCNK is a group within Mercy Corps International that advances, promotes and facilitates engagement between citizens of the United States and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. It works to reduce tensions and promote peace on the Korean Peninsula and improve the well being of the citizens of the DPRK. The NCNK required a custom content model be implemented to help it self-manage the wealth of publications, news releases and other resources related to NCNK activities and discussions, as well as custom search functionality to help visitors find this information. In addition, the member directory and profiles on the site are highly customized, as is the simple site skin.

NCCR Democracy is an interdisciplinary research program of the Swiss national science foundation (SNSF), based at the University of Zurich. The Plone 4 website includes a members’ intranet as well as groupware tools to facilitate cooperation among members of the research teams. The website is bilingual (English/German) using LinguaPlone.
