InterNos (Emilia-Romagna Region official Intranet)

The Emilia-Romagna Region, one of the most complex yet efficient Public Organizations in Italy, and a spearhead in e-Government and innovation, chose Plone for its new Intranet, aptly named "InterNos" with a play of words on the Latin "Between us". The new InterNos interface was the subject of a complex study involving disciplines including sociology and ergonomics, and Plone was selected after a thorough screening of all the most important CMS, as the one offering the best overall features for this complex endeavour.
