The International Planetary Data Alliance (IPDA) is a group of worldwide space exploration agencies dedicated towards providing common data formats, data protocols, and ease of access to repositories of scientific data about our solar system. The ESA, NASA, JAXA, and other space exploration agencies have come together to build a virtual observatory of their planetary data collections, shortening time to discovery of new theories about our neighboring planets. Plone enables the IPDA to share events, specifications, and knowledge in multiple languages with collaborators across the globe.
