The Intellectual Disability, Pervasive Developmental Disorders and Intersectorality team is an academic-practitioner partnership based on the establishment of sustainable alliances among university researchers; rehabilitation centres for intellectual disability and pervasive developmental disorders (RCID); organizations from the health, social services, and justice sectors; and collaborators from other countries. The team has been funded since May 2007 by the Fonds québécois de la recherche sur la société et la culture (FQRSC). Its main partners are the Centre de réadaptation en déficience intellectuelle Gabrielle Major, the Centre de réadaptation Lisette-Dupras, and the West Montreal Readaptation Center.
