I admire the work that Helpmate does for our community. As a domestic violence agency, the day to day work requires a wise balance of compassion and implementation of practical solutions to very emotional situations. The dedicated staff, led by Executive Director Valerie Collins, maintains a full range of support including a 24 hour crisis line, temporary shelter, counseling, court advocacy, education and outreach. They coordinate their efforts with other non-profits in our area to provide the most cost effective solutions with the best possible results for each individual's needs. Winn and I are pleased to be able to offer this site as our 2008 nonprofit pro bono gift to the community.
