Harvey Fellows is a Christian organisation providing scholarships to students throughout the world. They have an annual intake of around 30-50 applicants and generally are faced with 400-500 applications each year. A group of approximately 60 'readers' review all applications in a 3 round collaborative process.
The application process used to be an entirely off-line process involving hundreds of documents being photo-copied and mailed around the world and spreadsheets and email communication.
Mooball IT developed an entirely online system to accept applications and facilitate reader reviews. Applications are automatically converted to PDF documents for easy management. Plone workflows are used to manage the stages of each application.
