The Design Research Institute (DRI) aims to build design research's role as a 'solution finder' toward the challenges of the Urbanisation and the Cities of the Future. The Institute hosts forums and events to promote informed dialogue in the design sphere and introduce its community to international design innovators and renowned academic thinkers. It contributes to an understanding of the value of design and the role of design research among diverse communities and audiences.
