To support web-based delivery of mission-critical documents called directives, FosterMilo built a document management system for the Department of Energy in collaboration with Doxcelerate Corporation. For the DOE, aesthetics were of secondary concern. Far more important was security, sophisticated search, versioning, and role management. FosterMilo developed new content types, advanced search, and notifications using the Plone content management system. At the request of the DOE, we skinned Plone to match their existing website.
