As a big IT institution in the Brazilian Federal
Government, SERPRO has provided many key services to the 10th largest economy in the
World, such as taxes filing through the Internet since 1997, acting as a digital
certificate authority and providing accounting and budgeting systems for federal,
state and city governments since 1964.
