Deployed Sites
- Arbocatalogus Horeca (Netherlands)
- Knowledge portal about solutions and good practices for occupational safety and health in the restaurant and café branche aimed at employers and employees.
- European Committee for Homeopathy (Netherlands)
- The European Committee for Homeopathy is the representative for all homeopaths in Europe. She is organized in 37 associations in 22 countries. The old website of the ECH already contained information for decision makers and the media. However the content and its representation were very static. Another disadvantage of the old website was that users could not contribute content themselves. Proteon created a new design, then implemented it and helped reorganizing the content. By using the powerful CMS Plone end users of the website are also enabled to generate content themselves. Next to the homeopathic information for visitors, the website also has a section for members of the subcommittees. Here they can share documents, and discuss topics in the forum
- Exser (Netherlands)
- Exser is the Dutch center for service innovation, a joint initiative of several innovative service providers and Almere Kennisstad. It was officially opened on 18 December 2008. The national government, the municipality of Almere and the province of Flevoland supported the initiative with a start-up grant of €4 million. The parties involved asked Exser to reinforce the innovative growth of Dutch service providers in a bid to enhance the competitive strength of the Netherlands. Proteon created this Plone site for Exser as a way to both profile themselves and for the members to cooperate within their service programs.
- Kennistest KNMP (Netherlands)
- Proteon built Kennistest for Koninklijke Nederlandse Maatschappij ter bevordering der Pharmacie (KNMP), the Dutch association for promoting pharmacy. KennisTest is a Plone based application that presents the user a use case (e.g. someone walks into the pharmacy complaining about an itching head). Based on the use case multiple questions are asked to the user who has to answer a certain amount of questions correctly to pass the test. The application that Proteon created provides KNMP the ability to create and manage tests themselves. The system has a connection with KNMP's pharmacies' address list and is synchronized with that list every night. Employees of Dutch pharmacies are obliged to attend courses and take tests each year. This way they can keep their accreditation. To automatically notify the national database of accreditation a second back end connection exists in the KennisTest application. Through this connection the national database for accreditation is automatically notified when a user passes a test. This connection is based on XML-RPC communication.
- Park Medisch Centrum (Netherlands)
- Park Medisch Centrum (Park medical centre) is a clinic in Rotterdam for both cosmetic and plastic surgery as well as insured healthcare. This Plone website provides them with an easy and user-friendly manner of displaying their surgeries and references. Next to a public part of the website there is also an intranet for sharing forms and information between the employees of PMC.
- The Jostiband Orchestra (Netherlands)
- As the largest music group of mentally handicapped people in the world with concerts that are attended by many people, the Jostiband Orchestra needs an attractive website. Proteon used Plone for the new Jostiband website made in honor of their 45th anniversary. The new website of the Jostiband Orchestra received a brand new, fresh and clean appearance. All content present in the old (OpenCMS) website has been integrated in this new design. Using a comprehensive content arrangement this Plone site contains both information about the orchestra and its organisation and up-to-date news and a concert calendar, displaying the concerts on a map of Holland. In the Jostisjop one can order DVD's, CD's and more without having to log on. Next to this a live-video feed shows the Jostiband Orchestra rehearse each Wednesday evening and Saturday morning.
- UNIT4 Consist – Customer Service Portal (Netherlands)
- Unit4 Consist has been providing HRM & Payroll software for mid-sized and large Dutch companies for many years now. The payslips that millions of employees in the Netherlands receive each month are created with software from Unit4. Because the software is so widely used, a lot of questions and improvement proposals are sent to Unit4 daily. Unit4 Consist uses Salesforce CRM software. All issues filed by end users are also stored in this CRM. Filing and administrating these issues however is very time consuming. That is why at the start of 2011 they decided a customer portal should be built, that should provide the users a way to interact with the data in Salesforce. Proteon built the new Customer Portal based on Plone and created a flexible way of connecting to Salesforce which allows Unit4 to create queries themselves. This enables the system to adapt to future changes in Salesforce. Unit4 can manage users with access to the portal themselves as well by (un)checking a single checkbox in Salesforce.
