Teasers
The Teasers product provides a system for tagging Plone content with short promotional "teasers", and a system for building composite pages of content from these teasers
Project Description
Teasers are short, promotional pieces of text or images (or combinations of both) that link to pieces of content within a Plone site. Information-rich sites often use a "teaser" strategy to promote pieces of noteworthy content.
Typically a site that's using teasers will display several of them on the home page and/or in major site subsections. These will get rotated in/out by editorial staff depending on which content needs to be promoted at the time.
Features
This product provides a system for:
- tagging Plone content with teasers
- managing created teasers
- creating "landing pages" - a composite page type for displaying sets of teasers
- managing the teasers on a landing page
Disclaimers and feedback
The default teaser types that ship with the product are specific to the NHS Connecting for Health use case. However the system is developed using Archetypes so it's an easy task to add/modify new types.Comments/bug reports/feature suggestions welcome.
