SubSkins
****IMPORTANT: Subskins III is ready and should be used for plone 3 sites (=Its better) IMPORTANT************* SubSkins is the skin you should use if you dont know much about css but want to customize the look of your site so it doesnt look so "boring plone". Subskins is a skin for plone (made with small sites in mind) - or more correct, it is several skins which can be combined from a control panel. It requires PloneSubSkins (included in the bundle) which gives you a control panel to customize the skin. The idea is to be able to customize the skin without knowing much ... anything. The new colorschemes selection makes it also possible to change the colors easily from a control panel.
Current release
SubSkins 3.3.0
Released Jun 19, 2008 — tested with Plone 2.5, Plone 3
Have started to remove stuff thats not working. This version also adds a SubSkins_globalnav_redish that works with drop-down menues. I am also setting up a test-site at http://subskins.medialog.no so you can test subskins before installing it. (I have removed some selections on this site). Please send me a mail before upgrading a "working site". Please remember: due to the nature of SubSkins, it will never be finished..... its alway "growing".

Project Description
NB NB. For Plone 3 sites, You should use subskins III instead. Thee demo site at http://subskins.medialog.no is hopfully up (but slow)
The possibilities of this product are endless if I get help and it will probably evolve a lot in the future (maybe adding a selection for iconssets, (main)templates, previewing of selections, etc). Help is also needed for the different portlets-css (not high priority because many small sites doesnt have portlets).
Hope to get the screenshots up again soon, too: http://subskins.medialog.no/gallery
You might also take a look at the documentation which hopefylly will get better.......
Thanks to Eríc Brehault
for wrinting PloneSubSkins which could be used as a standalone product.
