Skeletor

Boilerplate can foil your evil schemes. Automate the rote with skeletor.

Project Description

Skeletor

skeletor, originally Projector, was born at the San Jose Sprint. He leapt forth from the best practices tracks, out of a crack in Ben Sallers head and Geoff Davis's goat assailed belly.

skeletor is about automating how you work, and allowing you to easily reuse best practices developed by others. Currently, skeletor supports a call and response style of passive code generation for the purpose of setting up a project, adding content, and applying a license.

skeletor utilizes the setuptools architecture and a simple xml format for extension to make it easy for developers to extend skeletor's powers, and to customize and reuse development templates.

Dependencies

  • python 2.4
  • lxml 0.7+
  • setuptools 0.5+
