Integrate other content types into sdotNews

This How-to applies to: 1.4

You may easily add other content types, like events, to sdotNews so that they are shown in your News listing.

Example: Add Events to sdotNews

This was tested and works fine with Event Registration but should be applicable to any other content type too

  • goto /plone_control_panel as admin.
  • call sdotNews configuration
  • add Event to Types to display.
  • goto /portal_types/sdotNewsFolder
  • and add Event to the Allowed content types to add of your Newsfolders
