Project Description
This product is another alternative of simple discussion for Plone. It may be easily integrated into Plone. Administrator may create several discussion rooms and users may add messages to these rooms. There are no threads and no threaded replies. Only simple messages are allowed.
Auditorium can be used also as simple site Guestbook.
Features:
- Plone compatibility - SCAuditorium is compatible with actual version of Plone 2.0.5 as well as with upcomming Plone release 2.1, but generaly it aims to utilize new potential of Plone 2.1
- Masking of banned words - SCAuditorium allows it's Moderators to define forbidden words and strings which will be used to mask these in Auditorium post's body.
- Restricting HTML tags - Author of Auditorium posts can use some of HTML tags in post body to make it more readable and nice. Auditorium Moderators can define which HTML tags are allowed.
- Moderated auditorium - Auditorium can be turn to
moderatedmode where every new post has to be approved by Moderator. Moderator can approve, reject or disable posts. Author of the rejected post can repost it after he fix it. - Auditorium portlets - For authenticated users are available two portlets with their
pendingandrejectedposts if Auditorium is inmoderatedmode. So they have overview about their's posts deal. - Auditoriums grouping - For site Managers is new folder view template available which can be used for standard Plone folder which contains more Auditorium objects. It displayes basic info about it like number of posts, last post etc.
- LinguaPlone support - Auditorium can be used in multilingual sites.
