Samplex is a tutorial product that demonstrates how to use the CMFMember and TeamSpace products to construct a custom extranet system.

Project Description

Samplex takes a developer through the process of building a custom extranet using the CMFMember and TeamSpace products, demonstrating best practices in Plone product development. Topics covered include:

  • product organization
  • translating from requirements to implementation
  • custom security
  • workflow management
  • unit testing
  • automating product deployment

Samplex was originally developed as a tutorial presented at the Plone Symposium, NOLA, 2005. Useful as an accompanying reference are some slides produced for a talk given at the 2004 Plone Conference in Vienna.
