Quills should work with Plone, not against it.

Motivation

Quills has a number of "features" that go against the expected or provided Plone system. This includes

  • Content styling
  • idFromTitle behaviour
  • Extra/unnecessary UI elements

Our goal is to integrate with Plone so that Quills looks and feels like a part of Plone, not an add-on product.

would be great to have the ability to refer to existing pages/objects through a reference widget while writing the blog article. Something like a wiki blog attachement engine??

Perhaps there's already something like this?

ciao!

we should be able to integrate with wicked via a marker interface at some point.

I agree that we should make Quills feel more like a Plone product, but also think some effort should go into making it feel more like a Blog product. I would like to present my users with a weblog as a content management solution which appears, to them, to be simpler than the create-folder-add-document-to-folder paradigm.
