Target release:

http://www.aclark.net/[…]/first-post#comments

has some nasty trackbacks attached to it. When I try to remove them via
http://www.aclark.net/[…]/edit_intrackbacks

the entire post disappears, forcing me to undo the deletion.

And by disappears I mean it is still there and published, but going to
http://aclark.net/Members/aclark/blog
says "no weblog entries have been posted".

I have the same problem with all the post that had trackbacks.
But when i deleted the trackback the post goes into draft status (not as in your case that it is published).
And when i try to publish it i get this:

aclark, I have checked in what I hope to be a fix for your problem. Can you verify that things work for you with a fresh checkout of plonetrackback/trunk? The problem was that when trying to uncatalog the trackback object, the weblog entry was getting uncataloged as well.

thegoldenaura, I couldn't replicate your problem. Could you also get a trunk checkout of plonetrackback and see if that helps things?

Works! Thanks for looking into and fixing this. I'm going to resolve.

I'm having the same issue, but when I applied the latest plonetrackback from the trunk I still have the problem. Do I need to do anything else, such as reinstall the quills software or update a schema or anything?

I'm using 1.5-RC3 with:
Plone 2.5.2-rc1,
CMF-1.6.2,
Zope (Zope 2.9.6-final, python 2.4.4, win32),
Five 1.3.7,
Python 2.4.4 (#71, Oct 18 2006, 08:34:43) [MSC v.1310 32 bit (Intel)],
PIL 1.1.6

When the fix landed I svn up'd everything Quills related, including Quills itself, which fixed the problem I was having. Unfortunately I didn't make a note of which revisions I ended up with, and I've since switched to using Just Plone™ to do my blogging (http://aclark.net/Members/aclark/blog). Will try Quills again in 3.0 when trunk settles down, sorry I couldn't be more helpful!
