I would like to hide the standard portlets of Quills 1.7 but can not figure out how. Try to edit Quills.css but that makes no sense. It is 'strange' that quills has its own portlets and does not use the normal portal engine.

I think this is a duplicate of 154 - which is marked resolved?? but I still have the problem.

I still have the problem too. I had one instance without this problem, but I can not reproduce that situation.

What's the status of this? The responses seem to be conflicting.

The status is that there is a strange thing with the Quills portlets. It is not possible to hide the Quills portlets. They show automatically but can not be removed. I only had one instance with oke portlets but that seems to be a coincidence. I was able to reproduce that in an other instance. At issue # 154 there was advised to use the svn version. I tried both svn and pypi version on several instances. And I tried both Quills and QuillsEnabled.

Were you updating with an existing Quills Blog? If so what happens if you create a new blog?

https://svn.plone.org/svn/collective/Products.Quills/trunk/ works fine
Except I get
createObject?type_name=None
When adding an entry by way of the 'Weblog Admin portlet'.

The last comment from Jeroen amounts to a separate issue (and has been reported at #158.
Can we close this issue, though? Jeroen seems to suggest that the trunk is (now?) ok.

With respect to the portlets trunk seems to work fine.
