QuickReinstaller

Adds a "reinstall product" link to the add/remove products page to cut down on unnecessary page loads.

Project Description

    QuickReinstaller is a product that adds a "reinstall product" link to the add/remove products page to cut down on unnecessary page loads/refreshes; especially useful to those of us who have sluggish computers. Currently targeted to Plone 2.5.x. QuickReinstaller links will only display when Zope is running in Debug or Foreground mode.

Installation

    1. Place QuickReinstaller in the Products directory of your Zope instance.
   
    2. Restart the server.
   
    3. Go to the 'Site Setup' page in the Plone interface and click on the
    'Add/Remove Products' link.
   
    4. Choose QuickReinstaller (check its checkbox) and click the 'Install' button.

    You may have to empty your browser cache to see the effects of the
    product installation/uninstallation.

    Uninstall -- This can be done from the same management screen.
