Project Description

Portletmania is a product that lets you manage Plone 2.5 portlets and easily create your own, using sources like iframes, RSS feeds, URLs, XSL or ZPT. A new kind of source can be easily created by subclassing from the base source and adding new behavior.

Note that this product is intended for Plone 2.5. Since Plone 3.0 changed the way portlets work, this product is not very useful inside a Plone 3 site.

Portletmania was born in the Julius project and now is on the Collective, so feel free to contribute to its development. The product is also heavily used on CNNExpansion.com and you can see a lot of live examples there (all the portlets on the right column are portletmania sources).
