About

Portletification allows you to tag items as site-wide portlets. What does that mean ?
With Portletification, you can select items (of a Plone portal) so that they appear as portlets (in the left and/or right columns). This way, you can turn any basic plone item into a portlet : a link, a smart folder...

How does the product work ?

Portletification adds 2 entries in your action dropdown menu. A simple click on the option adds the object to the selected column, with a clean rendering, allowing you to manage static text portlets, image portlets, and this, without adding any kind of intrusive products : no more dedicated content types, no more complex UI. This is a simple product for a simple use.

Portletification is non-intrusive, easy to use and, smart enough to survive a copy or a move of your tagged item.
